Barclays Bank (UK)..........Have launched a new carbon-neutral debit card, which is being rolled out to debit card users as their current ones expire.

Their card manufacturer has been working with The Carbon Neutral Company to finance projects that work to reduce carbon emissions in the developing world.

This effectively (supposedly) balances out the harmful emissions of the card’s manufacturing process by preventing the release of the same amount of greenhouse gases somewhere else.

Look out for their new debit card in the months ahead..............

Are are we being hoodwinked? AGAIN!

Mine is, laugh I spend far too much on shoes and handbags...............then they wrap it in so much paper, plastic carrier bags which I then put in the recycle bins ( to be collected by the county council) only to have them dump it in some land fill site.............I found out it never gets recycled devil Not saying that the card is to be blamed directly, but............ You know what I mean.

Very VERY good point - I guess in a very indirect way, my cards ARE bad for the environment. DAMN!

One day my son, we will all have to report to the hospital to have a chip implanted into some part of our bodies, then there will be no need for passports, ID cards, money etc,etc........... That day is going to come, I tell thee !!
