The politians can stay in office as long as they are alive. Yet any govt. employee is forced to retire at 65.. Is McCain not a govt emloyee running for the highest office in the land.

I think they should only serve as long as the people who elected them allow them to serve. If they're doing a good job, they stay -- if not -- they go. For every government position -- why should we be paying people to do a **** job? That's my take on it.
