During the two WW's the population of the United States was generally better behaved than our current generations. It was possible during that time to issue people ration cards and limit their use of fuels and foods.

Has it occured to any of you that the current high prices of everything is the equivilant to a ration card. The end result is less use of products that are needed elsewhere.

If they had tried to issue ration cards and give us quotas this 'war' would have been over a long time ago.

This isn't so much of a war like that though. This more like us fighting a big gang than a war. The reason for the rationing back then was because we needed all of our resources for it. The reason why everything is high now is because gas is high, and the reason for that is most likely bad politicians.
