I rode down to the river a while ago on the 4-wheeler, its pitch black and you cant see a foot in front of you, anyway, i got down to the sandbar, and after sitting there for a while i keep sseing tiny lights, and within a few minutes thousands of lighting bugs were in the trees all flashing at the same time, it was really amazing, just thought id share.

That sounds awesome!
We used to catch them when we were kids. My older brother would always smash one on my forehead. urrrgh.. Then he would laugh because I glowed in the dark. |

That sound beautiful! No Homo.... I called it...
But seriously, we do not get fireflies where I lived, and I will never forget when I visited Alice, Tx on our way up to South Padre island...... That night I had got to see fireflies for the first time. I was a kid, so my imagination was running wild. We were out in the middle of nowhere. These little bugs instantly became little fairies blessing us with their grace on our journey. It was magical! |
