If you were in a deeply committed relationship with someone who did not ever want to have children and you did...could you continue on in that loving relationship or would you have to leave? At what point do you leave?

Hey, my sister was so adamant about no kids, she got sterilized at 18!!

Can't answer, I already have a kiddo and if he doesn't love and accept her then ummmmm, we'er wasting each others time.

I would have to leave... I wouldn't sacrafice my own wants and needs when it comes to having children.

I didn't want kids. Got over it. Tried to have a kid for 1 1/2 yr with the hubby. Didn't work and so I went back to not wanting one. Ended up prego within a couple of months. Would change anything in my life because i have a great little boy now. Just give people time some change their minds. Some don't, but if you feel that they will never change their mind. Move on if a kid is what you really want.

Thats hard to say, but I have 5 children and I look at it this way,if the other person cant or dont want them, than they most definately dont want me.

I'm ready for the "me" time ! lol But I would date a man with children.. kids are special.

At what point do you leave? This happen to me, i find out 5 years ladder after we get married that she didn't want kids. The realtionship went down hill from there. Now if i new from the start, most likely things would of been different. I left a year latter after trying to work things out besids having family.
