Does no one really get it ??? The greatest expense to a divorce is not measured in dollars and cents. Its the damage it does to children by destroing their homes and familes. Sometimes divorce is a necessity... but its always awful.

I can't speak for everyone.. but I KNOW I get it! Do you think that most actually wanted to divorce?? Sometimes there's no alternative, it just doesn't work out, period. And have you thought that if someone STAYS in a unhealthy marriage that's even WORSE on children?? My children were/are much better off wiht us being divorced.. I didn't want my boy's to grow up thinking that, that is the way you treat a wife/woman..and I wanted my children to see LOVE..which wasn't there in my marriage... so now, back to your original statement... Which would cause more damage to children?

do you not realize, that sometimes, keeping a child in that home is more damaging then seperating? My sons father was drinking and doing drugs in front of my son... should i have stayed and allowed my son to continue to be exposed to it???
I did not get married, just to end up divorced, but I surely didnt have my son,j ust to be destroyed by drugs and alcohol.
