Not much happens at work worth sharing... but today... I GOT A GOOD ONE!!!

We have an opening for a receptionist, part time. When people call about the job, we asked them either mail, drop off or fax a resume'.

So we get this fax today... checked her crudentials..they looked pretty good. Took it to the Dr. that owns the practice. He comes out a little while later giggling. now mind ya, he's got a very dry sense of humor. He dont usually say much. Just asks, "where am i going", "time for lunch", "can I go home".

so he goes over to fax... sends something out..and hands me this resume, the cover sheet... Im reading all her info... and BOOM!!! down at bottom it says

IF FOR SOME REASON YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THIS FAX, PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I WILL REFAX.

So I busted out laughing... I said ok.. thats funny... but what did you fax her. He held up a piece of paper, it said.. I didnt get your fax!!! please resend!!

So I laugh harder, cuz thats soooooooooooooo something I didnt think he'd do... but wait... its better

we hear a "beep" and a fax comes in... yup.... she resent it!!!

I think we're gonna have her come in for an interview!!!

I've seen that before and cracked up, too!! It's one thing to say "If you received this fax in error, please notify", but what you describe has always perplexed me!! What a riot!!
