True Story -this actually happened in Philadelphia

A man walks into a bar and sits next to 2 ladies having a drink on girls night out. One is very pretty and the other is so homely with a face only a mother could love. The man sits in the only available seat next to the homely lady but can't keep his
eyes off the pretty one.He speaks across the homely lady to begin asking questions of her very pretty girlfriend.

"What is your name?" he asks. The homely one answers,"Do
you want to know my name too?" The pretty girlfriend ignores him. "Can I talk to you?" he asks the pretty one.The homely one answers, " You can talk to me". "I think you are so pretty" he says to the pretty one. The pretty one continues to ignore
him as she looks the other way. Thinking that perhaps the best way to get to the pretty one is to acknowledge her homely friend, he turns to the homely one and says,"I think you are pretty too!"
"Well" she snarls, "why can't I be pretty 1?"

I know just how she feels.
