I awoke this morning a dreamy smile upon my face my heartbeat slow and steady my mind in some half remembered place a place of warmth and happiness your arms holding me so tight echoes of the memory how we loved all through the night your kiss upon my eyelids wakes me all the way a softly whispered I love you what a way to start the day this is our beginning and may I never see the end who knew a love so strong could grow the day you called me friend~
