Man, I know what you mean!! And if that's not enough, my new car was about one month old when we got a hail storm with hail as big as tennis balls. DING, DING, DING, DING, DING!!! I gave up on it after that!!

One of my brother's friends was given his father's classic Mustang in perfect condition, the problem was that every time he parked it in public, he'd find it keyed... so he sold it.ohwell

Not enough people care about even simple things like that any more... They don't want an insurance claim, or they just plain don't care... I wish there was something that could be done, but the problem is too widespread and pervades everything starting from childhood... All I can do is try to be a decent person myself and set an example for others. Changing things one person at a time might seem an exercise in frustration, but it's all I can do. flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

For the record, I drive an ugly 1970 pickup that's so scratched, rusted and faded that it doesn't matter when my belt buckle scratches it.laugh

...And equal parts enamel and epoxy paint are nearly impossible to scratch, especially powder coat. But, uh, if you're doing it for yourself, wash the sprayer quickly and veeeery thoroughly.

Yeah, I would never buy a brand new car...it seems people have no respect. I have even taught my son to be very careful when he opens the car door in a parking lot....
