Topic: If I could turn back time | |

Not having a Cher moment...although, I do admire the girl...-
I'm not really one to regret decisions I've made, but there are times... I know there will be those who are tempted to post, "NO! Everything I've done and been has made me who I am today!" Ok. True. But, surely there have been times... Ok - bite! |

Yeah.. I would go all the way back to when I was 18 and got married right out of high school.. even knowing I would not have my kids now. I'd have been smart and joined the Air Force!

I'd skip both marriages ..and most of the men i dated.... the only thing i'd keep... is my son

Sure there's things I've said that I'd like to take back.

(((Pats)))) C'mon! Cher...I mean, share!!!

Hell ya would have spent my time on a career instead of my ex's . . blah waste of time

I have made some huge mistakes in my day and I did learn from them, but I would love to go back and fix a few. One being the way I lost my virginity to a guy who ended up in jail for statutory rape only a few weeks later.
Needless to say my friends and family seriously questioned my taste in men and didn't trust any guy I brought home for a long time. |

People grieve for what is lost when they do not humble themselves and appreciate what counts.... So count those blessings.

I've made lots of silly decisions, but I regret none. If we spend our time looking backward in regret it makes it very difficult to move forward.

Regardless if I could turn back thai-ooom (best spelt Cherism) I'd re-word. |

People grieve for what is lost when they do not humble themselves and appreciate what counts.... So count those blessings. Don't be misled...I do!!! I also think it's helpful when we take a look back at our "mistakes" so we don't make them again. |

So you go back in time to correct something but you risk everything else in your life not happening. Worth doing?
If you believe in karma then the bad episode which you would do differently would have likely been something else. |
