how to get rid of cigarette smell in your home? I've been living in my apartment since February and the previous tenants smoked in the house. No matter what I do, I can't get rid of the smell. Any ideas?

I use to smoke and when I quit I noticed that my furniture and carpets had the smell stuck in them. I went to a tobacco shop and they sold me the following item and it works great. The smell is gone and this comes in many scents. I just sprayed the furniture and carpets once and the smell was gone. It had an enzyme in it that attacks and removes smoke odors. It comes in a spray and in a candle form.

its called SMOKE ORDER EXTERMINATOR & AIR FRESHNER

baking soda - yep
sit it around in shallow pans, let it absorb, replace it frequently

charcoal briquets also absorb odor - replace frequently

vinegar - again in shallow pans, replace frequently, use white distilled vinegar with water to wash down all washable surfaces

Orange fresh cleaners -- doesn't just mask

I only use natural/chemical free cleaning supplies and these work great! Open the windows -- never enough fresh air!

good luck! flowerforyou
