she's been here since 1996... but for cryin out loud she's had 5 written warnings aside from all the verbal warnings. We have given her every possible chance. I just hate doing it tho. Five written warnings? My goodness, she's had more than her fair share, clearly not a team player. Good luck with belling the cat. I totally agree. I still feel bad tho, stupid conscience of mine If you don't do it then someone else will, one way or the other the weakest link in the chain has to be removed. I am sure she would not have hesitated if she was asked to fire you....................... well I look at it as setting an example. Also the rest of the staff is tired of picking up her slack. She really is the weakest link...

we have people like that at work & as a last effort the company will issue a two week suspension without pay. it has wonderful reformation qualities to it. just something to think about I actually thought about it but suspensions ( for some reason unknown to me ) are against our company policy. And it clearly states in her last written warning that ANY violation of company policy will result in termination. She's even had a few verbal warnings since then just to try and give her a break. Now she is just taking advantage of the situation. So when you spend so much time "baby sitting" her the rest of the work-force suffers, because she is taking up so much of your and the company's time.

It's obvious when someone gets like that...they don't like their job any more. Somehow Independence Day seems appropriate.

I have to fire someone in the morning... I hate doing it but she brought it on herself... Karma works that way. You just happen to be caught in the middle? I have that instant karma....damn it. Kickin' me in the balls as we speak....hard. But it's my fault and I have to man up and take care of it.

Dang that does make it for a tough day..........I always warn my employees I don't fie anyone I will keep them around and make their life miserable if they don't straighten out

She really doesn't like her job anymore, she only does it because she has to ( like most of us) but the way I see it... even if I don't like the job, if I am getting paid to do it, then I do it to my best ability. Otherwise I would just find a different job.
