i had a beautiful choc lab mix named midnight. but had to give him away to move into my house.

Neighbor has dog she named Diogee (D.O.G.) Thought that was kinda clever. That was my dog's name! Spelled D-o-g. Pronounced dee-o-gee. People would ask "Oh, is that French??"
"How do you spell that??"
And then of course there was always the smartazz that would then walk up to my cat and say Hi C-A-T.

I've had a whole menagerie over my life time.
Growing up on a farm, I was always dragging strays home, at one point my Dad (jokingly) told me he had counted 53 barn cats thanks to me...it was time for me or the cats to go. Two weeks later I moved out! Have had 6 horses, 8 dogs, 17 cats, turtles, bunnies, goats, sheep ~ one named Pokey, a cow named Horney --- what were our parents thinking letting us do that??
Now I have one lovely dog and 3 kitties. |
