Let's see if I can put this in poetic form... I got ecstatic yesterday From an email I received, Something that is far beyond Anything I perceived. But a big smile came Across this face of mine, When I read that email That came at the right time. I am a published writer now Something I've always dreamed, I sold my first article I nearly jumped and screamed. It wasn't much at first But hey, it's a start, I can see my name in print And see the flutter of my heart. |
