Has anyone ever tried fixing you up with someone else? How did it go? Would you welcome someone doing this for you or would you rather look on your own?

When I'm looking, I'd rather look on my own. I've had several people try to set me up, usually mothers... but it was always at a bad time and I never followed up later.

I would rather do it on my own. People always want to hook me up with someone I am not attracted to. The only person I would trust doing so is my half sister. She really looks out for me. She wouldn't let me talk to someone she didn't think was cute or lacking personality.

Yes & seeing the people my so called friends thought were suitable for me was a real eye opener. I am not as desperate as they thought.

I got a friend gurl I've known for 30+ years. She's tried settin me up several times. The problem is that she sets me up with guys that are her type, which is sooooo very different than mine. And as for it workin out, I'm still single that says it all

No I haven't ever been fixed up with any body or one. Now if some one offered to fix me up but askes what my likes and dislikes likes are etc, then I guess I wouldn't mind, however if they just said I got a date for you so and so night.. I don't know about that but I'd probably still go seeing as that person went through all that trouble. But I guess that's just me being nice and all.
