someone has said, especially during an important conversation..or a heart to heart kinda conversation or email..if they had a freudian slip..hahaha for example i just typed slop instead of slip.. anyone? |

every one slips ocassionally but the question is why over anaylis
everything I feel most agonize too much what could simply de a slip or joke or a simple- just ask straight out stop guessing. |

some people put way to much thought into things that really don't
require any. there are some things that need to be analyzed deeper but alot of stuff is what it is and when you try to explain something that isn't there you come up with a whole lot of bullshit and confuse yourself lol |

yeah well thats me..overanalyzing..haha

I think freudian slips do exist..and I think they come out cuz that's
what yer REALLY thinking. Having said that..in chat like this it's easy to overanalyze a typo..but in face to face conversation, what comes out is usually what yer thinking |

i'm not saying that freudian slips don't happen but there really is such
a thing as a simple mistake. some people go way overboard with the freudian slip stuff and they won't listen when you tell them that it was just a slip up. there doesn't necessarily have to be some deep psychological reason to everything and as i have said before when you overanalyze something you end up confused and headed in the wrong direction. i run into all the time with people who have read a few definitions or pamphlets on psychology and they tend to think that everything has some deeper meaning, it is not true. very often they are what they are. |

a freudian slip is when you would say something like that on accident,
it's supposed to mean that you are thinking about sex. it's not the same thing as a tongue in cheek expression but freuds theory was that truthful things come out even when we don't intend them to. |
