I get a funny feeling,
it comes from deep inside.
I get all mad and angry,
wanting to go and hide.

My doctor calls it depression,
my family says it's just me.
But the thoughts and feelings,
no one will ever be able to see.

Some say I'm psycho,
some say I'm just weird.
It's like I'm a different person,
and the old me just disappeared.

I get really edgy,
I want to commit suicide real bad.
Then I get a headache,
followed by feeling sad.

I wish I could get help,
I wish it would go away.
Maybe if I believed in praying
it will help some day.

Not worryin here Robear...you described depression very well, unless
someone lives with it daily they really have no understanding of it. A

You have this time here to show us all
that depression is your fall, but through this, you stand tall,
Know your limitations and know your not alone, because we are
all just a telephone... Words are ment to smile and cry

Depression is a very serious mental illness that can be fatal, and can
destroy families and worlds, if not treated apropprietly
some don't know they have it, for they do not recognize the symptoms, is
very important to understand that it can happen to anyone at anytime,
some get it and they get better right away, but some have to live with
this illness and is really sad, and bad feeling!!! so if you ever see
someone who suffers from depression take them to the doctor, cuz some
times the illness wont let them go them selfs, and they need that extra
help, and don't give up on them even if you see that they have gave up
already,,
this is very serious!!!!
and thanks for posting this!!! Im a counselor and deal with many
patients who self medicate their depression with drugs, and become
addicts, because they don't know that they are depressed, dont get me
wrong, some do drugs not due to that illness, but yea some due and then
they become dual diagnosed...depression and addiction!!! MICA (mentally
ill Chemical abuse)

You're right, but so much easier when you get it and see how easy it was
to get, and how much better you feel. It is worth asking for.

keep writing it will help also but do go to the doctor
ask some of the others what type of meds work for them
sure they would be more than glad to tell you. Life can
be real tough at times nothing like having friends to
help you through the rough times. Just know you have
friends here to talk to anytime.
