Yeah Sage was a special case, they worked it out. My ex cheated on me
many times, and there was nothing to build on, I didn't want to save it, so like Tex, kicked him to the curb. His family actually starting treating me nicer after I did that because he went back to live with his mom and they were trying to get me to take him back, but when they realized I wouldn't then I really became the black sheep. No loss. |

Makes you wonder who is really more forgiving, men or women. I think in
a relationship you have to give some trust. Then if that doesn't work out you have to decide what you are willing to live with. If you aren't willing to accept a cheating spouse, then after you find they have been cheating you have to let them go. I figure if they valued the relationship they would behave better. If they don't value your relationship I expect you will find it a problem to continue to value it. The tough part is if there are children involved. Divorce is a problem if there are kids. A woman who has kids and then cheats can take most of the financial security with her when she goes, and may have more or less likelihood of keeping the children. And then in some states there is alimony. Its not always the man who gets the shaft when a woman cheats and ends the relationship, but sometimes it is. One more thing, some people might think its better to have a cheating spouse than to be alone, perhaps hopeless about finding a new spouse, which is a difficult thing to do. |
