Negative. The game lets you talk to other people in large groups (guild chat) small groups (party chat) and individually (whispers). Women DO play these games. Also most MMORPG players use a program called Ventrillo to talk to each other through microphones.
So is common to group with someone for a dungeon, hear their voice in vent, think "ooooh she/he is cute" then flirt, and exchange info. |

Be it a PS3, 360, text-based (which is what the game I'm a manager on is), DLd MMO, etc etc. I've met a lot of cool people on games like that...and exactly what he said....you hear the voice and yes...I've fallen in love with just the voice before. Became great friends with the person, etc etc. |

wow... No geeks or nerds on here at all, huh? No wonder I can't find a date...
Yeah I have met some *really* cool people playing MMO's. I quit now, but back in the day when I didn't have a job I would spend all my time with them, and if we weren't playing we were just talking and doin whatever. They were really cool people... It actually makes me sad looking back now and remembering the fun times I use to have with them... I really miss some of them. In some ways, they knew me better than I knew myself at the time... Oh well... I am glad I am out of it now... But I would never want to change the experiences I've had. --- thewalrusx, you actually look like someone I use to play with xD |

I have done it, I'm not ashamed. I see nothing wrong. Can I get an amen or am I damned to a computer hell? I seem to keep meeting the same annoying people...nice part of the MMO is that I get to kill them.... |

Can I get an amen or am I damned to a computer hell? nope, you ain't the only one but the problem is too many guys are now creating female toon's,either just because they like the looks of the female char's or because some female have better in game stats,so you really have to know who you're flirting with |
