to anybody who wants to be a tow truck driver let me asure u to never call AAA towing & recovery for a job cuz the people there r greedy for money & don't pay the people who work there, they want everything done for free. for example they like to burn people but don't burn them cuz they don't like it done to them. so I would not recamend to call them for a job.

I've worked for a few tow truck companys, when you do AAA calls you have to work 24/7 to make any type of descent money, private tows & long distance tows is were the money's at, either way you work alot!!

Oh!U will like this story then.3 yrs.ago my mother-in-law broke down half way between N.H. & Mass.She was currently covered by them.Well when she called in she was a lil nervous about the ordeal & she wrote down the wrong confirmation # that she is supposed 2 give the hook guy.1)It took 2 hrs.& 15 min.for them to show.2)He wanted to charge her credit card because of the wrong confirmation # given.Geez!Myself nor my family will ever do bizz w/them again.

Heres to the tow drivers that save our arses!

AAA saved me when I had two front tires go down on my car. If they do not pay enough then it is because there are too many tow truck companies. You don't set the price, they do. Less companies would mean you have more say in the prices.
I am sorry but that is how supply and demand works in a capitalist society. |
