Love is a child’s smile.
They just have that style.
You might only see it for a while.
But it will be worthwhile.

How it would be to look through a child’s eyes.
Everything looks so different in size.
Everything seems like a surprise.
There thoughts seem so wise.

Just to watch a child at play.
Everything seems so natural there way.
As they run and laugh each day.
They seem so happy and gay.

You watch them learn to ride a bike.
They are just a little tyke.
You watch them climb and hike.
There is not much they dislike.

There is not much they will not try.
They will ask many questions of why?
Like how do birds fly?
Why do people cry?

There is nothing like what a child can do.
There thoughts are true.
They can make you no longer blue.
If only we could see through there view.

If only we could see through a child’s eyes.
And look upon the vast skies.
Life could be such a surprise.
Again we could be so wise!
