I have a MYSpace and it rocks....

I also am on myspace.. way b4 i came here... Have a lot of great
friends. also have relatives on it, so we communicate there...

i love myspace. i use it to talk to all my friends who are off at
different colleges. and also to find cool new bands. i'm a music junkie.
i've never had a problem with strange people contacting me.

No, never....

it isnt myspace's fault for seducing kids. look to the parents if they
dont know what is going on in their kids lives. my mom always knew what
was going on in my life and she made sure that i knew that she knew. but
i never got in trouble. yes some kids can hide things from prying eyes
but not for too long.

To many bugs, spyware, and pop ups. Don't use if you don't have to.

I think they are talking about underage kids, i personally use myspace
really talk with people i already know, i have people who have added me
randomly but most don't try to actually talk to me lol.. maybe that says
more about me.. but anyways i think in general if you have teenagers
that use the computer you shoudl be supervising them enough to know what
is going on in their " online" time... however i personally do not have
any stories to share about on this lol because sex offenders find their
ways into all different parts of peoples lives not just online

I have a myspace account only becasue of the hype associated with it. I
have not worked on it at all and in fact not even sure what my username
and password are on it. I do all my web development on full fledged web
servers and the only ads I see are ones I put up personally.

If I have a problem with a preditor I would jsut ban him from the site
or contact his isp as I have his IP address from visiting my website
and file complaint with them to have his account suspended or revolked.

myspace is fun! it CAN be a safe place IF you use the security features
AND if parents are aware of the stuff their kids are doing online.
GRANTED kids can be sneaky and find other means of accessing the
internet.. (i know i have), BUT it's all about personal responsibility.

i believe kids are smarter than we give them credit for, and know what
they're doing.

i think tom and the myspace team has done a LOT to help try keep people
safe. it's not their fault there's freaks that impersonate others to
cause harm and rob the innocence of kids.

My dad left when I was a baby - one day after 29years my sister was
looking around on myspace and she found him in calif. now we have met
him and made shure it was him first but anyway hes back in our lives so
it can be useful they also have a thing where you can track whos visited
your site or you can set it to private they probily mean under age kids
because they are easyly influenced by those sickos.true story
