Sounds weird, but throw a tilapia filet with some pepper and salt into your omlette, add some shredded cheese, and a couple small red potatoes (shredded) into the mix. tilapia has such a mild flavor that it ends up really rocking.

I don't like fish but you are right about tilapia being mild .not fishy at all ! Ihave made tilapia salad which is also very good. Same as chicken salad but using Talpia instead.

It's makerel in a can...little more fishy than tuna, and you have to debone and rinse it all yourself, but it makes a mean salad with some celery, onion and mustard. |

it's a little more fishy than tuna is, little more oily too. you can rinse a lot of the fishy smell out of it while you're de-boning/scaling it though.

good choice lol, i like tilapia more than any other fish i've tried...thresher shark being the only exception, but i don't think it's technically a fish is it?

I could be wrong but I think sharks are mammels . Whales are too aren't they?

I don't know, but they sure are tasty BettyB.....On a side note, if anyone tries the tilapia omlette, make sure you cook the tilapia before adding it to your mix...about 4 min. per side on med/high heat in skillet....
