So, I met this guy and he's sixteen years older then me... I jsut found out... I thought he was twenty seven.. we hung out and had a lot in coomon, but I was curious how old he was and asked him.. when he told me his age.. I kind of gasped, but I really like him and I am more mature than msot girls my age, so could it work and is it wrong???

I will also say that I like this girl who is quite younger than I am. Probably not a chance in hell there but if there is I would go for it for sure.

I dated a man last summer who was my age ... but he was used to dating girls 15 - 20 years his junior. Needless to say, I dont need a daddy ... it didnt work out. It's up to you both. If it seems to work then dont hesitate. Love is too rare a thing to put a number on it! Good luck! |

As it turned out - no one ever knew until after he died - my dad was 20 years older than my mom and she could never keep up. He never looked it nor acted it. Age is just a %^&*(I number and like math many people seem to have trouble with numbers.

I think I am the resident "date HUGE age differences" woman on here, and I am on the flip side. I date younger, not older. Usually around 20 yrs or more younger. Last BF was 27 yrs younger. But if that's what you're happy with, who CARES???? It's all about who you hit it off with sweets. I have had to tweak a couple things about dating so much younger, but once I made concessions for that all is well .. I love younger guys because they are so much fun & I think a generation behind mine .. it's all about what works for you babe
