Wish we still had one! We had many a good time in high school at the drive-in movie theatre! I don't remember us sitting in our cars for any length of time, as we were too busy "socializing" with our friends. Oh, the good ol' days!

still a few in my area. they've gotten ery picky about outside food and beverages. you have to pay extra at one to bring your own stuff in.
one closed last year. it was doing great, but a neighboring company bought it to turn it into a private park/exercise area for it's employees. all of the drive in stuff is gone. |

they where building a new drive in up the road form me , which is odd cause I live out in the booneys but it was almost finished and the dude that owned it and was building it got caught flying over the border to the U.S below radar, him an his buddy had a plane load of weed and cocaine.... oooops they are in jail in the U.S some where now and the drive in sits unfinished........

I know of one, that's it. Everytime I pass by it, it looks like it's out of business, but I don't know.

Yeah, last night when we went they had signs up about "No outside food allowed" that is new. I've been going for years and they've never had that before. I always bring my own goodies, keeps costs down |

It is a lot of fun. I love sitting out there and laughing with the kids. We used a ton of bug spray so we didn't get eaten and had blankies when it got too cold.
We'll be doing that again for sure. |

Wow have not been to a Drive Inn since I was 18 shshhs went to see Up In Smoke with Cheech & Chong. Funny thing about that is I thought it was a show at the time with Burt Reynolds at the time.
What a big surprise I got since I asked my Dad to go see it with me. shshshshshs I can say though that was some good memories since my Dad is no longer here. We laughed until we cried that is after I got over the embarrassment of realizing what it was about. |
