To Judge? What puts you in the place to judge? What puts you in this high priority to set standards of which no one can reach? What puts you higher than others?

Nothing puts anyone in a place to judge others. Life experence can maybe give someone the ability to give advice.

To Judge? What puts you in the place to judge? What puts you in this high priority to set standards of which no one can reach? What puts you higher than others? Sometimes we do things that we don't realize hurts people.... Not part of the question, but thank you for answering. So how is it we don't realize what hurts people when we say what we say or do what we do? What puts one on a pedestal so much higher than the one next to them? |

Nothing puts anyone in a place to judge others. Life experence can maybe give someone the ability to give advice. Advice is different then telling me how I should do things, and I fully agree. But what gives someone the right to tell me what I should do? What gives this person that amount of know-how to tell me I am doing something wrong? When does what one says and what one does seperate truth from reality? |

Probably because we hold ourselves to a higher standard and expect everyone else to be just as high if not higher....when they fail, we judge....not sure why, maybe a nature of sin. |

So in a given situation, for say let's put this out there: I am homeless and have no job; what would you suppose the appropriate reaction to this situation would be? |

But what gives someone the right to tell me what I should do? What gives this person that amount of know-how to tell me I am doing something wrong? When does what one says and what one does seperate truth from reality? It is usually never a good idea to give someone advise or to tell someone how they should do things. I don't tell people they are doing something wrong. When someone presents a problem or situation that they may be in I offer a possible solution based on my own life experience. I may suggest that they do something or think about doing something. I leave it up to them to make a decision as to whether or not to take the suggestion and apply it to there situation. |

What if the situation presented is not one you have gone through? What would be your answer then? Would you give the best of best advice given to you from a book or take from life experience and go from there? |

Either way I would offer it as a suggestion. Such as I read...Maybe it will work for you or This is what happened to me...you might be able to apply it to your situation. Either way I just offer something, it would be your decision if you acted upon what I offered. |

Glad you like it, your welcome You leave an open-ended answer to a rather open-ended question. This is why I appreciate your answer, you don't keep it to 'This is this, and that is that' but rather a 'you could do this, or you could do that'. Very open individual you are. |
