The Two Obamas The New York Times OPINION By DAVID BROOKS Published: June 20, 2008 "God, Republicans are saps. They think that they’re running against some academic liberal who wouldn’t wear flag pins on his lapel, whose wife isn’t proud of America and who went to some liberationist church where the pastor damned his own country. They think they’re running against some naïve university-town dreamer, the second coming of Adlai Stevenson. But as recent weeks have made clear, Barack Obama is the most split-personality politician in the country today. On the one hand, there is Dr. Barack, the high-minded, Niebuhr-quoting speechifier who spent this past winter thrilling the Scarlett Johansson set and feeling the fierce urgency of now. But then on the other side, there’s Fast Eddie Obama, the promise-breaking, tough-minded Chicago pol who’d throw you under the truck for votes." I still stand by my thoughts on him being the anti-Christ... a no body that now has a huge following... kind of scarey if you ask me!

Quite honestly, I have heard that here in Pittsburgh, PA quite a bit. At first I thought it a bit harsh to say, but the more I listen to him speak, the scarier the man gets.

BUT I dont think the anti-Christ necessarily has to be a person.... for instance, it could be...............OIL! YIKES!! I sure hope not! Lindyy It is now the major reason for the destruction of the ozone and could eventually destroy the earth.... God's earth. You might also think of oil as being the lubricant for the earth's crust, on which God's children live..... once oil is depleted, the earth's crust would not have a lubricant anymore.... We need to get alternative fuel now......(and alternative candidates for government....heheh) |

BTW: Oil is now making the gap between rich and poor even wider now..... and creating a new class of poor, coming from the middle class, the mainstay of governments.....

Yeah. He's multi sided. He's on your side. He's on the side of the person who wants exactly the opposite of you. Well... as long as you believe that.
As for his 'virtues' as toted by the mass media: I don't trust the mass media to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I trust them to follow their own agenda (which has always promoted liberal politics). My own personal research points toward Obama being rather a poor choice for U.S. President (then again I feel that way about every person running). I however, do very much doubt, that Barrack Obama is in any way the golden child of governmental change that he is being promoted as. But I digress, because our government isn't of the people... it's of the rich people... and until that changes then we shall remain a nation fettered by our own actions and inactions. If you want to see real change, we'd have to elect a preset group; a group consisting of a president and entire congressional body made up of people looking to make certain changes. IMO: If we did that, the first project should be the elimination of governmental waste. I can guarantee you none of the candidates will even try. |

Oh... and oil: We have capped reserves for over 25 years estimated use. It's all just a game of greed.

Greed from oil...... oil from Satan?

From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.' From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.' From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.' From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Du Bo is and Mandela.' And FINALLY the Most Damming one of ALL of them!!! From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.' maybe this is an eye opener...these are quotes from his two books |
