Ok, some of you just either aren't getting the math or are just totally ignoring it...LOL 3/4's of the time the seat needs to be in the down position for BOTH sexes...so, the seat should be kept in the position that it is most often needed. Women NEVER need it up...so why should we have to touch a dirty toilet seat before we do our business? This is not a big issue with me...but the math is correct! So, don't ignore it LOL so if they put it down SOME of the time then it equals out little missy

Tell me this men.....how do you like to touch the toilet seat that other people put their bum on???? What about grandma's bum on your toilet seat>>??? You now have to touch the seat that her bum was on!!! Makes you want to learn to pee sitting down doesnt it>????

Actually, I always lift the lid when I go, and afterwards I put it back down, even with the second half of the lid too! And I flush!
