not too much just in shock that no one replied to my news about tomorrow at all i think everybody is busy. as a veteran myself. i think its a good idea. maybe they shouldnt stop with marines though. maybe "make a troop happy day" do somethin for all of them

REPOST The Marine has arrived with news. Tomorrow june 21st 22008 is going to be the first annual make a Marine happy day. If you know a Marine then you should do all you can to thnk them for what they do for you and make them happy in anyway you can. We are writing a letter to congress to make this an official holiday but it is still in the air right now Plenty of beer being shipped!

No i think they should have a seperate day for each branch. June 21st is perfect for marine start of summer and all.
And no one here can't say they don't know a Marine LOL |

I agree with you CDaddy as I have a son and a Nephew over in Iraq now, with another nephew to go over soon, One Nephew is Marine, the other nephew is Airforce and my son is in the Army |

And no one here can't say they don't know a Marine LOL why a seperate day for each. they all go to work to accomplish the same mission. each branch depends on the others. it would be difficult for each branch to do its job without the support of the other branches. |

I don't understand why we need to separate out our military men... Each branch already does enough that when they're fighting for the same cause in the end and as one if it ever came to that.... I think one day for all is perfect otherwise it won't mean as much to ALL there will be too much bias.... |

Right now the marines are getting the short end of the stick, and usually do, though if you look at all the wars in the past, every branch is eventually involved. A bit thing in the armed forces though, is pride in your branch. Lots of fights break out by calling a navy guy an army guy. |
