could've been better. parody movies are getting too old. not that i don't enjoy them, they just lack originality. there are so many form of comedy, doing parodies is an easy way out. what the hell, i love parodies...
this movie just didn't really hit the spot. john c. reilly, however is always a great character actor. and it was pretty wicked seeing jack white play the man himself, elvis! also, the songs by dewey cox are pretty damn cool.

aww man i love jack black........but john c reilly sang so good throu all the times..........im not lyin.............i havent seen a funnier movie with great music........ever i think.....i loved it.............

im talking..........phantom of the paradise...........with paul williams.........and noone knows that ****............ indeed, there were great guests, jack black, jason schwartzman, harold ramis, martin starr, jack white, patrick duffy, justin long, paul rudd...etc. i was amazed too how great john c reilly sounded! he has great range in his voice...!

sorry man.........thats from my other thread.........but hey people i did watch that movie again today and say even more cooooooooooool stuff...........i love this movie almost as much as snatch and lock ,stock , and 4 smokin barrels............... yeah, except you don't get that one crazy british guy who wants to kill or hurt every person he sees.
there was a pretty explicit orgy scene in walk hard....are you sure, you're not just watching it for that reason?

no.........that part sucked........i was watchin it with my dad........who loved the movie.....but we didnt need to see some guys ****.......nop......they messed the movie up with that stuff..........but i watched it again and it was funny as hell and great music too.......that johncreilly...is badass.............

john c reilly has been doing a lot of comedy lately. he used to do a lot character acting in movies. playing whatever role he could get. and he did them well. this comedy genre has been very kind to john's career. i can drink to that!
