And one more thing...
If he ever says "I'm going to put some figures together and call you back" MAKE DANG SURE that he does just that, and not have his secretary call you in a few weeks asking you to come down and sign a release form  My attorney sucked!! He made a settlement without my knowledge of what it consisted of..then they called for me to come down and sign a release form to release my check.. I was like, uhh WHAT CHECK???

and whatever I get he gets 1/3, wonder if I can fire him b4 the final judgment? Much like a prostitute, the real question is how badly do you want to get screwed? Remember, you're dealing with a lower life form, and the opposing counsel's lower life form(s) too. My own dealings with lawsuits all came out winners, sortof. I only owe my lawyer about $14K now, and won every case, including appeals all the way up to the State supreme court.. I really should add, that I had a really good and ethical lawyer. He did the appeal pro bono. |
