Some religious gurus ,some politicians and some media are the ones who inject hatred and bigotry in many societies for their political or power agendas . That is why it is so important to be careful what one watches , reads and listens to .

Because Islam is a "works oriented" salvation based system. Christianity is not.

Although there are similarities between Christianity ,Judaism ,and Islam ;there are huge differences between them and no one expects different religions to embrace one another . If they do , they see a danger for their own survival :" divide and conquer is the divine religious agenda to flourish ".

I don't see religion as a cause of war or peace, but an excuse for war with the promise of attaining peace.

Perhaps you don't believe in alien war Lords, then believe this. There is a small group who seek world domination. They need war in order to steal the real wealth from the people.

What is the real wealth? Its not federal reserve notes that's for sure. (Its not diamonds either.)

The real wealth is the gold and the oil and the land and other valuable resources.

War provides a way to gain access to the gold and the oil and the land and it ends up in the hands of these very wealthy bankers who intend to rule the earth with a one world government and enforce one religion upon them all.

They will take the three main religions, which are similar, and they will reveal their "truth" (what ever it is) to the world and attempt to unite the three religions into one that will worship a god-like deity ruler.

That's the plan anyway. It's sort of like a game of checkers. A race to see who gets "kinged" first. Or like a game of chess, a race to see who wins, the red dragon or the white dragon. There are more than two factions involved, but the general plan is basically the same. World domination.

Religion helps to keep the slaves under control, and helps to keep them at war with each other. Reducing the population of the earth is essential for this plan to work.

A lot of Americans see Islam as a religion of violence because of all the war propaganda that was shown to us on television for months after 9/11. A lot of people have been basically brainwashed.

In Islam, once they reach puberty, his/her account of deeds is opened in Paradise. To attain paradise, at death, their good deeds (helping others, testifying to the truth of God, leading a virtuous life) must outweigh their evil deeds.

In Christianity there is no consensus. Different faith groups hold Various diverse beliefs: trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior, good works, church sacraments, baptism, avoiding certain actions.

In Islam all babies are a born in a pure state of submission to Allah. However, as they mature they are often taught other beliefs by their parents and their culture.

Various views on the christian front again. One is that a baby is born with a sin nature, separated from God. God needs to grant grace so that he may be saved.

Because it is good for the Americans to follow their leader into war.
To stir up hate and distrust will allow the leaders of the countries (not just the US, but the UK too) to conduct war in the name of peace.

The people of the Middle East dont understand it anymore than the majority of us. Apart from the west's desire to steal oil

The media who hide the truth and follow the leader share the blame of injustice too . A propaganda of 24/7 always has a negative result on any given nation .

Without the media bandwagon, we would be left to form our own opinions. Not have someone else's thrust upon us.

We have a newspaper in the UK called The Independant. It is just that! It has no political affiliations in the UK and it speaks without judgment or bias.

So, it reports the news without rambling editorials.

Not a bad newspaper at all. Not a very popular one, but still my newspaper of choice

I have enjoyed reading that.

Fisk was a reporter for the Independent.

It made a refreshing change to read it.
