Begin
Amid the noise and rousing tune, Shuffle, strut and stride, In her silence, standing still, Balancing her pride. A thought begins to energize As surface moves, a sway, Like a ripple in a pond, Expression starts a wave. In between the sips and swallow Her morning cup of trance, She begins to scratch her thoughts, Pen perspective's dance. Just a thought, hidden From a deep and buried place, Painted with a new view, Brushed and scratched, now traced. As memory uncurls The folded, layered rose, She flowers as the lotus Flourishes, her pose, Visible, open, bare, Yet, to naked eyes Her petal's closing dance, Truly, rare, surprise. Her force is subtle beauty. Silence, standing still. The heart she sees, Felt needing love, Begin with need's perceive. Raine Les 6/16/2008 |
