This clown makes no sound
With a face painted white
And an upside down frown
For my birthday party
He doesn't dress very bright
Dark clothes as black as night
Why doesn't he have a red nose
On that face painted white
Wheres the colored balloons
Why does he stare
Without moving so much as a hair
It's not fare
I do declare
This is a nightmare
Wheres his rainbow colored hair
And the laughs he's supposed to share

I don't see any magic trick's here or their
or funny things pulled out of his hair
I do declare
I don't see colored dots on him anywhere
I do declare
I don't see him riding his little bike from here to there
Why doesn't he do any funny moves
And wheres his big red shoes
Why doesn't he make any sounds
Where are the bells and whistles
That come with a clown
I bet you even his funny bone can't be found
Next time I'll ask for a pony
And it better not be a phony
