to the local bar and hang out..but i dread going in alone and sauntering up to the bar, people look at you like you are there for a pick up...but I HATE sitting here in this lonely apartment all by my lonesome,...give me some words of encouragement so I can do it, I just want one beer to get it out of my system..

Stay out of bars. Do something that you really enjoy. Sooner or later you meet someone who shares your interests. Stay closeby you friends. They'll always be there for you. Good luck.

I enjoy bars..that's the problem,,it excites me...the jukebox, the talking, the laughing, playing darts...

Just go to the bar. If anyone tries to pick you up, IMMEDIATELY start talking about you want to marry the pick up artist and have loads of kids. Don't let up at ANY point, and make it your only topic to talk to the pick up artist about. That oughta scare 'em away...

If you were in England you could have walked to a pub without that trouble As man I don't go to bars on my own either in this country so I think there are many people who won't go on their own

I've never been in a bar in my life. I have the urge every now and again to go in one...but, like you I don't dare go alone.
