I remember when we first met, You made my life so alive,
Your beautiful smile lingering in my mind, I am trying my best not to cry.
You have been gone for almost four years and tears fill my eyes,
From a terminal Illness that was not fair. I recall how hard it was to say goodbye.
I still can not understand why you were taken away from me at the age of fifty one,
I remember how we talked about our future and spoke of the things that we had already done.

I remember when we would lie in bed wrapped in each others arms,
From the moment that we met, you captured my heart with your charm.
You would be so happy today my lady knowing that we could have been legally married in some states like we always had dreamed about,
I know that you watch over me, from somewhere high above the clouds.

The ones we miss so much, are the ones who also are missing us very much...
To you both being together forever, at your calling.
