OC, whats a decent paint job run? oh sheesh they can runn any where from a grand up. but I gettting a 250 or 300 dollor paint job, forgot the name, its a professional paint job,but only last about 5 years or so. Takin it to Maaco? LOL My parents owned a Maaco and I ran it for them, we ended up selling the shop tho because its hard to sell crappy paint Good thing is I learned A LOT about paint and body work so no one will ever be able to rip me off. if u take it up there in the offseason,u will get a decent paint job,I dont have 4 or 5 grand to get the paint job I want, and I wont ask my dad to do it,and my mechanic friend dont have the time right now. Oh no I totally agree, we painted my old S10 and it turned out great, its just that what people expect for what they pay for is night and day. At least you know you're not getting a factory paint job for $300 |

It's primer gray now, but when it's painted it's gonnabe..... right now the only thing that reallly needs paint is the bed and its not dark blue like the rest, the front is actually in pretty good condition and if I took it to clean it up,sure I could deal with it,but since I am gonna get the bed done,I best just get the whole truck done |

Right now its important to get any rust taken care of and a good coat of primer. The pretty paint can wait for sure. |

OC, have you thought about using that "Rhino lining" in the bed. Supposedly you just roll it on and I have heard good things about it.
the owner of the truck had it stolen, and they just took the engine and tranny which I am very suprised, but the truck only shows 1100 miles on it,which means it was stolen pretty much right after the guy got it

My stepdad has a dodge durango with the suspension and beefy 4x4 tires... He sprayed his bumpers and fender flares with the bedliner! Looks pretty sweet actually. I think the Sherwin Williams bedliner even comes in COLORS if you want it to match your paint! |
