for 29-30 year old men to date 18 or 19 year old women? Or even if the men are older. In my opinion, age is just a number and you have to assess the person; not how old they are. As long as the woman is an adult it's ok in my opinion. What do YOU think??

if she is of legal age, i guess it shouldnt matter but it also depends on the person if they prefer to date older men..

I think that age is just a number.. as long as it's not jailbait.. to each their own... I've dated guys a good bit younger but I definitely prefer older.. they are more settled and know how to treat a lady

Problem with your thinking here to me. You say when it comes to the man being older it's an issue to assess, yet when referring to the woman, you have labeled 18 as an adult. 18 may be legal, but generally speaking, there's usually a very young immature person still growing up in that 18-year-aged body who doesn't necessarily KNOW HOW to assess any man, let alone an older, more worldly one. So, no.

I have a friend that married a man that was ten years older than her-but she was 21 or 22 when she met him. They are still happily married after 25 years. I would say that she was the exception though. I see guys in their mid 30's persuing 17 year olds because women his age are "too immature". There is definitely something wrong in that particular scenario. So in general I'd say 10 years younger-yes if they are mature and in their twenties's...

jmo,,,,,to me,it depends on what kind of date,,just as friends having lunch or dinner,,,maby a few drinks out,,,,,,,,,,going on a ride to no where,,,,,,,then age dosen't really matter,,,,,,,but on a personal level,,,,,,i had rather keep it a little closer to my own age,,,,,,,i don't really see my self dating a young lady thats 18 on a person level,,,,heck,th frist date would probley kill me
