Oh yeah, well I know the great and almighty English proverb of....."Me So Horny.......Me Love You Long Time.", brought to us by the great and philosophical Luke Skywalker and the 2 Live Crew!

Makes since.
I think being in love is what people say when they are feeling passion. The rest of the stuff is for when passion is gone. |

cloudedsunshine, I agree.
The proverb also speaks to the folk belief that if you marry mainly for looks, passion, and chemistry, you'll have a grand time in bed; but better be prepared for suffering, hardship, and pain in the marriage. Why? Because you didn't use your head to make a good match. Thoughts? |

Why? Because you didn't use your head to make a good match. Thoughts? well then it's referring more to the sexual match .. than the emotional love that could easily give you joy 24-7 |

"Chi si marita per amore, di notte ha piacere, e di giorno ha dolore" - Italian proverb It means: She who marries for love has pleasure by night, and suffering by day. What has been your experience? why is it suffering by day Its just this particular region in Italy's way of conceptualizing the difference between when we make love and when we are attending to other things in our marriage. I'm sure they aren't saying you can only have sex at night. lol |
