Its so many things that go into why people get arrested, and jailed. From being guilty, to being wrongly jailed. Drugs, Mental problems, white collar crimes, sex offenders, lack of education,poverty, and accidents. The USA, has so many laws, and so many ways to interpret the laws that you can be jail, because they have to figure out the mess the courts created. I think the the thing that make me more intrested in the jail system is why the least of the population gets jailed more than the majority. Blacks, are jailed 3, times more than hispanics, and 5 times more than whites. eventhough some say that people that serve there time should get there right back, some are getting theirs taken away more often

my question is what can be done to alleviate this growing phenonmenon

For some its to late. They are the product of the enviorment, and a crooked justice system.

Young children, and parents of young children have to be better educated. Young people have to not only be educated, but be guided towards a life plan. Men have to begin to talk to each other, so that young men know what is expected of them going into manhood. We have to teach each other, what it means to be a productive person. what it means to be respectful to others. what it mean to respect your parents,woman,girlfriend,wife,boyfriend,husband, and children. We cant keep waiting until WE get locked up.
