If I was voted most popular in grade school, I'd probably chuck the plaque or whatever at my 9th grade teacher, or else the worst bully, that little rat that always talked like Beavis from Beavis and Butthead.
Just chuck it real hard and try to ding him in the head. 
Obviously, I wasn't the most popular kid in grade school. As for upgrading, I'd have to give that some serious thought, since I actually think I would be in the running for such an award. Probably, I would thank...everyone, because they all played some role in my success, with the support they showed me, and I will never forget that.
