I recently tried looking into flights into Missouri, and I almost pooped my pants when I found out that the cheapest round-trip flights to the region would set me back over $1000 bucks. In coach. With stopovers. Even with advance notice.

This sucks because-

- I don't have a friggin' grand burning a hole in my pocket at present.

- Chances are that I won't have a friggin' grand burnin' a hole in my pocket in the near future, thanks in part to an impending Screen Actors Guild strike that will pretty much shut my business down.

- Just a year ago, a cheap-ass flight to the Mid-West would have cost me around $120.

So yeah- this fuel thing is crampin' my style.

LoL.....Maybe the gas prices are a good way to weed out unsuitable suitors
