a lone bottle floats along the crest
tossed from wave to wave always abreast
on a journey to the shore
hoping to be found, claimed, and more
inside the bottle is a note
curled with care and covered in dust motes
A letter written full of love,then tossed on a wave
with a sorrowful sigh soft as the coo of a dove
the secrets of a heart untold
but written here for someone to behold
who will find it? will they care
That a love so true could not be dared
told only to the wind and waves
love not for the timid, only the brave
