Topic: The Storm | |
---|---|
A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, alone with thunder and lightning. The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school. Following the roar of the thunder and lightning, like a flaming sword, which would cut through the sky, the mother, feared that the electrical storm might harm her child. Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the route to her child's school. As she did so, she saw her little girl walking along, but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up and smile. Another and another were to follow quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile. When the mother's car drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called her. "What are you doing? Why do you keep stopping?" The child answered, "I am trying to look pretty. God keeps taking my picture." Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond imperfections and smile at life. Unknown Writer! |

I love this way of thinking. I say life is like the yin-yang.there's
good in the bad and thre's bad in the good.It all depends on how you chose to look at your life. |

You are welcome again. A
Sometimes we take for granted those little things. But a child can brings us back and make us see the beauty of all. Then, it is when we realized how blind we been. |

I can't say I have ever known who the author is, I like to think it was
a power greater than myself, yet will never know. G |

Wouldn't it be wonderful as adults to see life again through the eyes of
a child for a day (Thank's for posting that) |

|
marilyn, I would love to see the world through the eyes of a child. I
think that would bring so much joy to my life and everyone else's. The only thing we can do now is listen to children talk. They speak the truth and speak with their hearts. |
