A BUS DRIVER'PRAYER
Please, Lord, watch over me this day. Please help me remember to watch all mirrors, two dozen windows, eight gauges, six warning lights, six dozen faces, three lanes of traffic and to keep a third eye open for wobbling bicycles and daydreaming pedestrians, espcially teenagers wearing headsets who are in another world. Please , Lord, help me hear all train whistles, trucks and automobile horns, police sirens and the two-way radio. Please, Lord, give me a hand for the gear lever, the steering wheel, the route book, the two-way radio microphone and the turn signal lever. And Lord, please grant me the self-control to keep my hands away from little Johnny's neck. And one more thing , dear Lord, please don't let Mary be sick allover the bus. And finally Lord, please watch over us so we can do it all again next year. AMEN |

Dang, I feel for ya. I've had to ride cross-country in a Greyhound, and
it's not the funnest of experiences, but VEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRYYYYY interestin. We had a crackhead try to steal our luggage in LA, and got a doobie off of the dred-man in El Paso. I wish ya the best of luck gettin to and from safely, and I'll pray for ya. |

I guess no-one else has done the cross country Greyhound thing huh?
Well, if ya do, take mental notes of little stuff. I remember the moon was blood red when we were about 1/2 an hour away from Dallas, and when we got there we found out Saddam had been caught about when we saw the moon like that. Was kinda trippy. |

My nickname is Greyhound but i don't drive a greyhound bus. I drive a
regular school bus. Wow... i can't stop thinking about the red moon at about the same time they caught Saddam Hussein.... trippy ain't the word. You must have felt really strange, i'm getting goosebumps thinkin' about it. I still say hanging that creep was too good for him. I would have fed him healthy food so he would have lived a long time and i would have made sure he would have been torchured each and everyday till his last breath. how about that ? |

Hello fellow School Bus Driver! :)
Just Love the Prayer! Can I reprint this and post it on my bus. My fellow workers would just love to have this also. You managed to cover all bases. I need to say this every day as we board our buses. And to think I've been doing this for 9 years already. Thanks for the laughs :P |

I am little johnnys mother!!!!! LMAO!!!
Waving atcha mrsart!!!!! And verbatim and all!!!!! I really salute ya'll. That is one of the most unappreciated jobs out there. My lil snookums bus drivers when he took the bus treated him just like one of their own kids. For that time i was truly blessed knowing my child was in good hands. From just a mom out there....thank you for all YOU DO!!! |

Thank's Barbiesbigsister. It's not a high paying job here in Ontario
being a school bus driver, but it's very rewarding in so many other ways. After all these years doing this, I was always blessed every year with great kids and wonderful parents.I'm off for March Break this week and I miss my kids. |
