thunderstorms yesterday morning, cleared long enough to take parents to a ball game and storm when around the stadium but got rain at home.

Hey bonnie and musicchic yeah busy later in the afternoon and evening. Good though I'll sleep good tonight. Bonnie where in AZ My first time out there was 3 years ago different liked it. Well Sage we did get some rain here. Mostly clouds kept the heat from getting so hot.

Everyone goes to Kingman. we had a nice sunset going on & right in the middle we had a lightening show very beautiful.no puddles to play in though.

OK,today is supposed to be last day of 110-115 heat index. The past few days have this old body aching. Shovels, rakes, chain saws, stacking wood, removing stumps; loading them on my trailer & hauling them to recycle center. Got enough firewood for nxt 2 years. Funny thing is, I get GREAT satisfaction from doing physical work. Enjoy seeing a tough task completed.

I guess we are lucky up here, it's only going to get about 85 here and start cooling off by the weekend. The rain today is suppose to start the temps dropping
