Cat...I was watching on the news today that thousands of people were out of power in your state. |

that is just too wild.........I just responsed to Grey post and when I submitted it, my page went blank, said the thread was locked, so I knew it rolled over to the new page but my post never made it.
Anyway, in answer to your question....I didn't know about the power outages but we did have some severe storms and tornados North of me.....tore up one town and they even had one of the Interstates closed off because of overturned cars and trucks on the road. |

I remember years ago living in Texas (Abilene) we could set our clocks by when a storm (tornado) would come through. Almost every afternoon or every other day the tornado sirens would go off, the sky would get black.....I'd throw my kids in the closet with blankets and pillows and then run outside and watch the storm. Even had neighbors across the street from me who would climb on the roof of their house and look for the twisters. |
