The tears fall from my regretful eyes
My misery I have to try and hide

From all the regret and pain I’ve cried

You’ve thrown me to the ground and lied

Carried me off into the darkness

Have told me to hold on to nothingness

Slipping away from a life a once called perfect

With everything going down and being wreaked

I stand there and show you love and affection

Though you only take it as a way of attention

You probably don’t need me after all

So don’t look back and watch me fall

Stand there and block me out with your wall

Please set me free from your chains

Your memory of me is all that will remain

A photograph is all that will last

Even though it will start to fade fast

Just remember I was only someone from your past
