LI is fine although I've about had my fill. I'm thinking if someone was to offer me a stick of gum to move someplace else I'd be there quicker than you could say 1,500 a month for property taxes....

1500 a month! Yikes!

I started a new job in Durham so I have to drive an hour and a half each way..sometimes takes longer sometimes shorter depending on traffic - all highway. They had me travel to Philly and Atlanta and first week in July down to Florida. I put this house up for sale to see about moving to the Raleigh area. It's more lively there too! and Closer to the beach..I know it;s still 2 hours away but it's closer!

Not much time left to play online :(

Yes, if I do move off LI I will miss many aspects. There's a reason why 3 and a half million people live here. However, there are also many reasons why so many life long NYers are leaving the area...
